Can I get a "woo hoo", people? Headed off tomorrow to the Regina Folk Festival with a couple of great girl friends and a lot of great bands. Hello, Suzanne Vega? When did I ever think I'd see you in this lifetime? Also, Spearhead, who blew the sound system not once but twice last year and ended up doing a kickline for most of their set. It'll be good to actually hear them this year. And Bela Fleck? And Broken Social Scene? And the Weakerthans? Cool beans. It'll be just what the doctor ordered after a really fucking shitty week running into criticism everywhere I turned. Ouch.
