3 years in my little house
I am happy as a mouse
if mice are supposedly happy?

the bank says it's worth 3x as much
as when I bought, I say "nice touch!"
and try not to sound sappy.

It's been a year, some good most bad,
the situations this house has had
were, at times, real crappy.

But we're looking positively ahead
and getting our ducks in order.
It doesn't rhyme. Sue me.
