waiting on the world to change

Watching the AMA's last night, I wondered who choreographed the damn thing? It was rampant with poor transitions, odd pairings, and bad back-to-back performance choices. You don't put (the new) Nelly Furtado before Josh Groban (who I really just don't get, anyways, who the hell is that guy?). And Miss Furtado and Gwen Stefani had the exact same hair, in different shades (uh excuse me? Stylists? You're fired). But the biggest irony of all? John Mayer, the smartest and most honest man in commercial music, singing "waiting on the world to change", right before Snoop Dogg and Akon's perfomance with tons of scantily clad women rolling around on the ground covered in piles of cash, flashing their crotches, complete with a stripper pole. Waiting on the world to change indeed.
